Google has been a big name in the Denver, Boulder and Littleton CO areas recently with the recent expansion of its presence in Colorado and the recent groundbreaking for its new campus in Boulder, CO. What you may not have heard about is another project Google is taking part in—a project which will benefit many homeowners who want solar roofing on their Colorado home. Google has recently partnered with SolarCity to create a fund to finance $750 million in residential solar projects.
Usually one of the biggest downsides is the initial cost of the panels and installation, which is what makes this program so interesting for many Boulder homeowners. Solar panels greatly reduce the carbon footprint of your home and can save you money in the process. If you’re a Boulder or Littleton resident, or if you live anywhere in the Denver area, this is definitely something you’ll want to look into!
